Tara Dimick is a summa cum laude graduate of Washburn University, holding both a BBA and an MBA, and is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. A serial entrepreneur, she launched her first company, E2 Communications—the publishing house for TK Business Magazine—in 2008. TK Business Magazine is a publication that spotlights entrepreneurs and leaders in Topeka.

In January 2023, Tara co‑founded Compass Marketing & Advertising Partners, where she serves as Co‑Founder and CEO, offering services from strategic planning and creative branding to media buying and executive training. Previously, she held the role of Chief Business Development Officer at Envista Federal Credit Union.

Tara actively serves her community through leadership positions including Tri‑Chair of Momentum 2027, board member of the Topeka Community Foundation, Topeka Civic Theatre, Stormont Vail Foundation Advisory Board, KTWU Advisory Board, and the Women’s Fund of Topeka.

She also holds executive certifications: CCUE from CUNA Management School, a certified leadership coach certification through the Kansas Leadership Center, and a communications certificate from Harvard University.

Tara shares a life in leadership and entrepreneurship with her husband, Braden, and their three children—Hope, Cordell, and Harmony.
